Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject medicine containing a specific compound as an active ingredient, having remarkable arterialization inhibiting action, useful in treatment and prevention for diseases accompanying abnormal accentuation of arterialization such as cancer, chronic inflammation or arteriosclerosis and having low toxicity and being safe. CONSTITUTION:The objective medicine contains a compound of the formula [R1 and R2 are H, 1-6C alkyl or R3CO (R3 is H or 1-6C alkyl] as an active ingredient. Radisicol which is a compound of the formula wherein R1 and R2 are simultaneously H is obtained by subjecting, e.g. Penicillium luteo-aurantiumu Smith (IFO-8176) to stationary culture at 27 deg.C for 21 day. The compound other than radisicol expressed by the formula is preferably obtained by alkylating a hydroxyl group of radisicol with an alkyl halide or esterifying the hydroxyl group using a carboxylic acid, its acid chloride or acid anhydride. The compound of the formula is preferably administered in several portions in an amount of 50-300mg/adult daily in the case of oral administration.
