THERMAL RECORDING BODY

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording body having a superior long-term color image shelf stability, such as resistance to oils and resistance to plasticizer, and a high sentitivity by incorporating a compound having one or more arylsulfonylureido groups in one molecular as a color developer and one or more kinds of specific compounds having acrylamide group as a sensitizer in a thermal color-forming layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal color-forming layer containing a dye precursor and a color developer is provided on at least one surface of a sheet substrate. As the color developer, the thermal color-forming layer contains a compound having one or more arylsulfonylureido groups shown by a formula I (R1 is an aromatic group unsubstituted or substituted by at least one member selected out of lower alkyl group and halogen atom) in one molecular. The thermal color-forming layer further contains one or more kinds of acrylamide compounds and methacryamide compounds shown by a formula II (R1, R2 represent hydrogen atom, methyl, or phenyl, and R3 represents phenyl or naphtyl group unsubstituted or substituted by 1-3 aryl groups, alkyl groups, or halogen atoms).
