INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To record/reproduce an audio signal and a video signal on a same disk simultaneously by providing a recording reproduction control means recording/reproducing a 2nd information signal to/from other area of the disk at some idle time when a 1st information signal is recorded/reproduced intermittently to/from the disk. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal from an audio system 3 is fed to an input terminal of a disk recording and reproducing device 50, and a video signal from a video image pickup device 51 is fed to another input terminal. For example, a singing person is picked up by a video camera included in the video image pickup device 51 and the video signal is fed to the disk recording and reproducing device 50. In this case, the disk recording and reproducing device 50 records an audio signal in which a playing and a vocal are mixed and a video signal of the singing person on one disk. Not only the playing and vocal but also the video image of the singing person or the synthesized and edited video image of said video image and video image of orchestral accompaniment is outputted by reproducing the disk.
