| Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent a video image from being unsightly because of a luminance change by contour correction at a border between a video signal and an added video signal. CONSTITUTION:The contour correction device is provided with an added video signal generating circuit 14 generating an added video signal 13 added to a video signal 12, an addition circuit 15 adding the added video signal 13 outputted from the added video signal generating circuit 14 to the video signal 12. In a contour correction device 1 generating a contour correction signal 10 from a luminance signal component of the added video signal 16 being the output signal of the addition circuit 15 and a correction inhibit means inhibiting the production of the contour correction signal 10 from the contour correction device 1, the correction inhibit means is activated and performed at least at a border between the video signal 12 and the added video signal 13. |
