Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a galvanizing tank excellent in zinc erosion resistance, reduced in the generation of dross and having a long service life by forming at least the surface in contact with molten zinc with an Al diffusion-coated steel. CONSTITUTION:At least the surface in contact with molten zinc is formed with an Al diffusion-coated steel in the galvanizing tank into which steel material, products, etc., are dipped. An Al penetrant formed by mixing Fe-Al alloy powder or Al powder, Al2O3 powder with NH4Cl powder and a steel material are filled in a partially closed vessel and heated at about 800-1100 deg.C for 5 to 20hr to form the Al diffusion coating. An Al diffusion-coating layer contg. about 10-40wt.% Al and having about 200-400mum thickness is formed in this way.
