Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate the form of a flexible disk. CONSTITUTION:This processor is controlled by a control means 13, and applies the open for a disk driving device 8. According to the result of the open, the test operation writing a file consisting of the file name of the number of characters exceeding a minimum file allowable number of characters among the file allowable number of characters in plural forms is performed to an insertion monitoring means 15 detecting whether the flexible disk 7 is inserted into the disk driving device 8 and the flexible disk 7 inserted into the disk driving device 8. This procssor is provided with a form discrimination means 16 discriminating the form of the flexible disk 7 as the form having the minimum file number of characters when no test operation is ended in a success.
