Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a compact laser beam source device easy in an adjustment operation. CONSTITUTION:This device uses a press-formed cylindrical glass lens provided with a flat part 7 which is parallel to the optical axis (y) of the lens at right angle to the base of a lens 6 on the cylindrical plane. An optical axis of the cylindrical single lens is portion-controlled so that the axis is made to coincide with the (y) direction surely by abutting the base of the lens 6 on a holding plane 5 and the flat part 7 on the cylindrical plane on a guide wall 8. Thus, focus-adjustment operation in the direction of the (y) axis is facilitated since the optical axis of the lens is position-controlled by the flat part 7 and guide wall 8.
