SIMPLE OPTICAL ADAPTER

PURPOSE:To consider spatial allowance in an equipment by connecting an optical connector without forcibly bending the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:This adapter is constituted of housings 1 to 3, the coupling part 4 of the housings 1 and 2 is free to rotate, and the coupling part 5 of the housings 2 and 3 is rotated at 90 deg. up and down, then a stopper 7 comes in contact with the housing 2 so that the part 5 may not rotate over 90 deg. whereby they are controlled to be rotated. Therefore, in the case of connecting the optical connector in the space in the equipment, the optical connector is connected without forcibly bending the optical fiber.
