FUEL CONTROL DEVICE OF GENERATOR

PURPOSE:To prevent excess rotation of an engine even with a spill type fuel injection valve by lowering a fuel pump discharge amount at the time of trouble of a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:A fuel pump 56 changes a discharge amount, a fuel injection valve 57 changes a fuel flow rate in accordance with difference between fuel inlet pressure and return side fuel pressure, and return fuel pressure from this fuel injection valve 57 is regulated by a throttle valve 58. A computing means 62 computes throttle valve opening command value so that detection value of the real number of rotation matches with a target number of rotation in accordance with an electric load, a judgement means 63 judges whether there is failure in the throttle valve 58 or not in accordance with whether this throttle valve opening command value is higher than set value and the detection value of the real number of rotation rises over the target number of rotation or not, as the result of this judgement, at the time when there is failure in the throttle valve 58, a drive means 64 drives the throttle valve 58 at the maximum value of the throttle valve opening command value, and a drive voltage lowering means 65 lowers the discharge amount of the fuel pump 56.
