AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL INSECTICIDAL AND GERMICIDAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING SILICON-CONTAINING COMPOUND

PURPOSE:To obtain a new agricultural and horticultural insecticidal and germicidal composition, capable of manifesting synergistic action and synergistically manifesting remarkable effects on various plant disease injuries and safely usable with saved labor by combining a specific silicon-containing azole-based compound with a well-known insecticide. CONSTITUTION:This agricultural insecticidal and germicidal composition is obtained by combining a compound expressed by the formula [A is 1,2,4- triazol-1-yl or imidazol-1-yl; (n) is 1-3; X is H, halogen, phenyl, (halogenated)alkyl or (halogenated)alkoxy] or its salt with a well-known insecticide, i.e., permethrin, cyhalothrin, ethofenprox, cycloprothrin, fulvarinate, diazinon, thiometon, propaphos, acephate, isoxathion, ethylthiometon, dimethoate, benfuracarb, etc. The composition is capable of manifesting remarkable effects on sheatla blight, blast, planthoppers and leafhoppers of rice plant, aphid, diamondback moth, leaf roller, black spot and powdery mildew of fruit trees, vegetables, etc., aphid, powdery mildew, rust, etc., of barley and wheat.
