Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a more safely usable flea controlling agent of a new composition and capable of manifesting enhanced controlling effects on various fleas. CONSTITUTION:This flea controlling agent is obtained by blending one selected from permethrin, phenothrin, cyphenothrin, d-resmethrin, empenthrin, prallethrin and cyfluthrin with N-(2-ethylhexyl)-bicyclo[2.2.1]-hept-5-ene-2, 3-dicarboxyimide at 1: >=1 weight ratio. The controlling agent is capable of effectively and surely controlling fleas parasitic on humans and animals by flea controlling effects remarkably improved as compared with those of a conventional product. The substantial amount of the contained insecticidal ingredient used can be reduced to afford the more safe and inexpensive flea controlling agent.
