Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make a small manipulator usable by lightening load to be imposed on an end of the manipulator. CONSTITUTION:A coupling mechanism 100 at the side of a manipulator is provided with a held rod 101. In addition, another coupling mechanism 200 at the side of suspended matter is provided with three holding claws 232a, 232b, 232c holding the held rod 101, an energizing mechanism 240 energizing these claws 232a, 232b, 232c to a holding state from the nonholding state, a constraining mechanism 250 constraining these claws 232a, 232b, 232c being energized into the holding state into the nonholding state in advance, and a constraint releasing mechanism 260 releasing any constraint of this constraining mechanism 250 if coming into contact with the held rod 101.
