Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a moderate engine brake feeling by detecting a parameter regarding the temperature of a mechanical supercharger and the deceleration of an engine, controlling a bypass air valve on the basis of the detected signals, and making the opening of the bypass air valve minimized in the allowable temperature range of the mechanical supercharger. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 9 is provided in an intake passage 2 from the lower course side of a throttle valve 3 so as to bypass a supercharger 4 and an intercooler 5, and joined with a surge tank 6. Signals of an engine speed sensor 24, a car speed sensor 25, a temperature sensor 26 of the supercharger 4, a sensor 27 for detecting the geared state of a transmission, an opening sensor 29 for detecting the opening of a valve body 12 of a bypass valve 10, etc., are input into a controller 21. The duty rate of control signals to be output to a duty solenoid valve 22 is changed on the basis of these signals, and the opening of the bypass air valve 10 is made minimized in the allowable temperature range of the supercharger 4, thereby a moderate engine brake feeling can be obtained, and also the torque shock caused by the difference of the deceleration force following return from fuel cut can be reduced.
