METHOD FOR REGULATING PUNCHING FORCE OF KNOCK HAMMER AND METHOD FOR SPECIFYING DEFECTIVE PORTION

PURPOSE:To stabilize a punching force by automatically changing a pressure of air operating a knock hammer, measuring the punching force of the knock hammer corresponding to the pressure value of air and keeping the pressure in a definite value in a state of the punching force being entered within a definite range. CONSTITUTION:A punching force measuring sensor 40 in order to measure the punching force of a knock hammer is provided, a strain amount of a strain ring is converted to an electric signal with a strain gage, and this output electric signal is inputted in a controller 50. Further, this device is provided with a pressure controller 60 in order to set an air pressure fed to a knock hammer 20 in a prescribed value. A valve opening grade of a pressure controlling valve 62 is regulated with a pressure controller as a part of the controller 50 so that a pressure detecting value of a pressure detecting sensor 64 is made equal to a set pressure. Therefore, because the punch regulation of the knock hammer cane be automatically made, the regulating precision is made high, further the regulating time is also shortened, and the punching force can be stabilized.
