JET MILL

PURPOSE:To provide a jet mill which can perform the collision of colliding components while improving the classification performance without complicating the device constitution and immediately correspond and adjust in a accordance with the characteristices and kinds of raw materials to be crushed. CONSTITUTION:In a jet mill comprising a raw material jet means 4 disposed on the upper section of a crushing chamber 2 and introducing a crushed raw material to peripheral sections in a chamber, a discharge pipe 5 disposed on a central section of the crushing chamber 2 and discharging a product crushed and classified, a plurality of crushing rolls 6 jetting compressed air into the chamber and forming a swirl flow and colliding components disposed opposite to jet openings of respective crushing rolls 6, the widths L along the swirl flow direction of the colliding components are formed 3-15 times as large as the diameter of the crushing nozzles. The left side and the right side end shape along the swirl flow direction are flat collision plates 8 formed thinly, and the angle formed by the colliding faces in the flow direction of swirl flow with the opposite crushing nozzle center lines are inclined in the rape of 30-60 deg., and the colliding faces are fixed by a mounting means 7 with adjustable angle.
