Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a water-soluble high molecular flocculant being appropriately used in a field of engineering works such as waste water treatment or construction dredging and reclamation, which have overcome defects whose conventional high molecular flocculants have and whose flocculation compacting property is excellent and by which solid-liquid separation is excellent. CONSTITUTION:The water-soluble high molecular flocculant incorporates a polymerized polymer containing (A) a vinyl alcohol unit, (B) an acryl amide unit and/or methacryl unit and (C) at least one kind unit selected among an acrylic acid unit a methacryl acid unit and these salt units as indispensable constitutional units, as an effective component.
