Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a film winding mechanism in the camera of a type that a film is automatically sent from a cartridge. CONSTITUTION:This camera is equipped with a film holding means 20 having a pressing part 20d pressing the film on the outer periphery of a receiving spool shaft l3 provided so as to freely move to positions for pressing the film on the outer periphery and releasing the pressing, a pressing means 22 pressing the film holding means 20 in a direction to press the film on the outer periphery of the receiving spool shaft 13 and a locking means 21 having a detecting part 21b detecting the projecting part of the send film and locking the film holding means 20 at a press releasing position against the pressing means 22.
