RADIAL PISTON PUMP

PURPOSE: To improve the reliability by attaching a plurality of pads by a holder so that an inner end face of a piston abuts on each pad by a return spring, engaging the pad with a flat part of a cam, and directing the friction resistance between the flat part and a sliding surface of a disk to be perpendicular to a drive shaft. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pads 62 are attached to a piston 40 so that an inner end face 80 of the piston 40 abuts on each pad 62 by a return spring 66. A disk 70 integrated with a sleeve 72 as a holding means of the pads 62 is engaged with a flat part 32 of an eccentric cam 28 in a sliding condition by a sliding surface 82. The pads are directed so that the friction resistance between the flat part 32 of the eccentric cam 28 and he sliding surface 82 of the disk 70 is perpendicular to a drive shaft. The pads 62 are prevented from being separated from the piston 40 under operation by the sleeve 72 as the holding means.
