Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To contrive a movement of a suspension device freely even if it is heavy with regards to a suspension device which is capable of running along guide rails, suspending suspension objects, such as ladder or scaffolding. CONSTITUTION:A suspension device comprises a guide rail 6 and a runner 2 provided with a plurality of wheels. The runner 2 is capable of cantilever- supporting a suspending object on a rack 17 of the runner with a supporting shaft 20 in structure. The supporting shaft 20 is freely fitted into the runner's rack 17 and mounted thereto so that it may be rotated. When starting its running operation, even if the lower part of the suspending object is pressed with force, only the suspending object is inclined, the runner 2 keeps its original horizontal position constantly. Furthermore, it is so arranged that constant and equal load may apply to a plurality of longitudinal wheels 18 and 18' of the runner so that it may start its running operation swiftly.
