Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the metallic mold which is high in accuracy and is easy in management by improving the metallic mold surface. CONSTITUTION:This treating agent for the metallic mold surface is prepd. by mixing a polishing material having about 30 to 60mum grain sizes with an aq. single acid soln., aq. alkaline soln. or aq. mixed acid soln. formed by adding a surfactant to mixed acids mixed with the plural acids selected from acids represented by hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, oxalic acid, etc. While the rough surface of the metallic mold is impregnated with this treating agent by using the treating agent, the rough surface is polished by a polishing means consisting of many fibrous materials. The metallic mold surface is further polished by using the treating agent prepd. by kneading the polishing material of the finer grain sizes with a reducing agent, surfactant and thickener in addition to this treatment.
