Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To ensure rust prevention of the welded part of a stud by welding stud to the roof part of a car, fitting a clip member on the stud, and aging a roof molding over the clip member. CONSTITUTION:In the condition that a stud 10 is welded to a recess 9 formed in the roof part of a car, the prime coat and secondary coat are applied to the car body, and immediately before the finish coat, a clip member 11 furnished with a hot melt 16 melting with a heat is fitted on the stud 10, and the hot melt 16 is melted in the body drying process after the finish coat so that the welded part X of the stud 10 is covered with the hot melt 16.
