Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently sort round material from among refuse by simple constitution by pushing up the middle part of an endlessly turned conveyor belt to form a pair of side slopes which are tilted in the mutually reverse directions and erecting a cover for catching refuse just above the side slopes. CONSTITUTION:Sorting equipment is constituted by pushing up the middle part of the conveyance face side of an endlessly turned conveyor belt 7 by a lifting roller 9 and forming a pair of side slopes 11, 12 which are tilted in the mutually reverse directions toward the direction intersecting the conveyance direction and erecting a cover 20 for temporarily catching refuse from the side just above the respective side slopes 11, 12. By such constitution, round material wherein the axial line is directed in the conveyance direction is rolled on the side along the side slopes 11, 12 and separated from angular material. Further the axial line of round material is directed in the direction intersecting the conveyance direction. The direction of round material is converted by friction of the cover 20 in the side slopes 11, 12. Round material is rolled on the side along the side slopes 11, 12 and separated from the angular material.
