COLLISION PREVENTIVE DEVICE OF SELF-TRAVELING CONTAINER HANDLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent plural self-traveling container handling devices from colliding each other on a container loading lane by providing a discriminating device to transmit a warning signal as well as to discriminate whether plural container handling devices are in the condition possible to generate a collision each other or not. CONSTITUTION:The reading signals of the identifiers 31 of loaded substances 30 input from the reading devices 32 of container handling devices 6 to control devices 40 are, together with the discriminating signals intrinsic to the container handling devices 6, transmitted to the control device 45 in a main management room 46 from the control devices 40 through radio systems 43 and 48. And the control device 45 in the main management room 46 discriminates whether the container handling devices 6 are in the condition possible to generate a collision each other or not depending on the reading signals of the identifiers 31 and a collision generating condition stored in a memory device 45b. And when they are in the condition possible to generate a collision, it is transmitted to the control device 40 of each container handling device 6 through the radio systems 43 and 48, and a warning buzzer 38 is rung.
