PORTABLE TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To provide a small-size light-weight portable telephone set for enabling operations by one hand for which damage prevention is designed even when excessive loads are added to a transmitter member freely rotatably supported against the main body of a telephone set. CONSTITUTION:This portable telephone set is constituted of the main body 2 of the telephone set to which a receiver 7, a dial switch 9, a radio speech circuit and a power source battery, etc., are mounted and the transmitter member 3 freely rotatably combined by supporting one end side through a rotation supporting mechanism 22 for which a transmitter 17 is built into the free end. A transmitter member holding mechanism 34 for holding the free end side of the transmitter member 3 against the main body 2 of the telephone set is provided in the rotation supporting mechanism 22. The transmitter member 3 is constituted of case bodies 15 and 16 provided with flexibility and also a core material 20 formed by a shape memory alloy is built in.
