CONSTITUTION:When RES data are detected, an RDS decoder 5 raises an RDS flag, sends RDS presence/absence signals to a transistor Q and turns ON the transistor Q in the case of RDS data non-detection. The transistor Q grounds or ungrounds S meter output from an FM tuner part 1 by being turned ON and OFF and lowers the S meter output in the case of the RDS data non- detection.
