Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a crystal oscillator and the manufacture of the same, for which the fluctuation of the frequency characteristics of a crystal oscillating piece is reduced without generating thermal decomposition a conductive adhering member even when the device is exposed in a high temperature state by a reflow furnace, and to provide the surface mounted temperature compensating crystal oscillator suitable for surface mounting by using the method. CONSTITUTION:Concerning this crystal oscillator, a crystal oscillating piece 1 forming oscillating electrodes 12 and 13 on both of main faces is connected through conductive adhering members 6 and 7 to lead terminal parts 2 and 3 respectively connected with the oscillating electrodes 12 and 13. The conductive adhering members 6 and 7 are formed by sintering a conductive adhesive agent, which is constituted by mixing conductive powder into polyimide resin, through the solvent removing process and the polyimide sintering process. As the structure of the oscillating electrodes 12 and 13, a chrome base layer and an Au surface layer are provided. On the other hand, this crystal oscillator is used for the surface mounted temperature compensating crystal oscillator.
