RADIATION DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate a plurality of arrangements on a straight line and a curve arc and to enhance the reliability and maintenance property of a detector by independently constituting a circuit board loaded with a radiation detection element and a signal processing circuit on a surface crossing at a definite angle to provide the same as a unit. CONSTITUTION:A detection part is constituted of a detection element 1 having a voltage applying electrode and a charge collecting electrode formed thereto, a detection element stand 2 having a groove provided to the central part thereof and having connection terminals 8 embedded in both end parts of the bottom part of the groove and a radiation shielding member 3 shielding the part other than the region of the detection element 1 of the upper surface part of the detection element stand 22. A circuit board 7 is loaded with a preamplifier 4, a pulse amplifier 5 and a comparator circuit 6 and arranged on a surface crossing the detection part at a definite angle independently of the detection part to be constituted as a unit.
