Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide an evaluation circuit for an induction-type position sensor by which an output signal is transmitted as a digital signal, by correcting a defect of a non-linear conventional device of low sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: An evaluation circuit comprises two coils of which the inductances are changed corresponding to a position to be detected, and an oscillator 15 to be alternately connected with one of the inductances by an analogue switch 14. An output singal of the oscillator 15 is supplied to a frequency divider 16, and the frequency devider 16 controls the flip flop 17 and a counter 18. The counter 18 counts the pulses of high frequency of the other oscillator 19. The detected counting condition is processed in a logical operation unit 24, and a digital output signal is generated.
