Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the rock breaking force by installing both first and second spacers in a rock breaker expanding the diameter of a rubber tube after being expanded and, after inserting the second spacer in time of contracting the rubber tube into the first space in time of first expansion, further expanding the rubber tube. CONSTITUTION:A rock breaker 15 is inserted into plural holes bored in a rock bed in a diametrally contracted state A, and a first spacer 6 is inserted thereinto in a state B of having a rubber tube 4 expanded. Next, a second spacer 7 is inserted thereinto in a state C of having this tube 4 contracted. Likewise, the rubber tube 4 is reexpanded (D), expanding a diameter of the rock breaker 15, and cracks are produced in and around the rock bed. In this connection, expansion of this rubber tube 4 is performed by means of a supply of hydraulic pressure. With this constitution, the rock bed is easily crushable without using any rock drill including a breaker or the like.
