METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING INK TO FORM ROLLER OF ROTARY PRESS

PURPOSE: To finely meter the amount of ink during operation corresponding to production conditions relating to the number of revolutions when ink is fed to a form roller of a rotary press so that ink is continuously transferred from a cover of an ink roller to the form roller. CONSTITUTION: When ink of an ink roller is fed to a cover of porous material from an inner chamber of the ink roller through a radius hole in a first pipe coaxial with the inner chamber so as to be metered, the amount of the ink is measured by continuously adjusting the cross sectional areas of holes 24 of a hollow axis 11 and the cross sectional areas of the first pipe 26 and thereafter the ink is passed through a number of holes 41 in a rotating second pipe 33 so as to be distributed and given to the cover pipe 44 rotating at different speeds, whereby the ink is fed to a form roller.
