SECTION FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To form signatures by enlarging and contracting and/or rotating original image information. CONSTITUTION: A first scaling factor is determined by dividing a first dimension A of a receiver sheet 120 into two and dividing the result by a first dimension B of original image information 110. A second scaling factor is determined by dividing a second dimension C of the receiver sheet 120 by a second dimension B of the original image information 110. One or both of the first and second scaling factors are used for enlarging and contracting electronic signals. Visible images are created on the receiver sheet by the enlarged or contracted electronic signals, and visible images are formed on the receiver sheet by the enlarged and contracted electronic signals to form signatures, and a pamphlet of pages in correct order is formed by the multiple stacked signatures on the receiver sheet. The visible images can be formed to be rotated by 90 deg. relative to the original information.
