Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To stabilize dimension of a wood material and improve durability of the wood material. CONSTITUTION:A timber or a wood material is impregnated with, dipped in or coated with a drug containing as main components a cyclic ester compound such as B-propiolactone, delta-valerolactone, epsilon-caprolactone, and an initial condensation product of formaldehyde resin such as melamine resin, urea resin, glyoxal resin, phenol resin. Then, the drug is reacted and cured in the timber or the wood material. Further, as a processing for reacting and curing, heat compression processing is performed.
