Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a painting gun driving device capable of smoothly driving a painting gun so as to move the same in an up-and-down direction by always holding a horizontal axis plate by the air cylinder for a counter wt. connected to the horizontal axis plate. CONSTITUTION:A painting gun driving device is constituted so that the gun attaching frame 4 to which a gun attaching bracket having a painting gun 12 attached thereto is fixed is moved left and right along a horizontal axis plate 3 by a servo motor 5 for left-and-right direction driving and the horizontal axis plate 3 is moved up and down along the pillars 2 constituting a whole frame 1 by a servomotor 6 for up-and-down direction driving. When the horizontal axis plate 3 is driven in an up-and-down direction, an air cylinder 11 for a counter wt. is connected to the horizontal axis plate 3 in order to uniformize driving forces in upward and downward directions and the horizontal axis plate 3 is always held by the air cylinder 11 for the counter wt.
