Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a magnet for driving a rotary actuator, which materializes the large torque of a rotor, that is, excellent responsiveness by enabling the density of the magnetic flux at the position of the coil of the rotor to be enlarged, and besides, enabling uniform density distribution of magnetic flux to be gotten. CONSTITUTION:In a magnet 1 for driving a rotary actuator, which is constituted of, at least, a pair of permanent magnets 4A and 4B being arranged to face the rotary shaft of the rotor of a rotary actuator, the permanent magnets 4A and 4B are arranged so that the directions 3A and 3B of magnetization may be in the radial directions of the rotary shaft.
