FILM PICTURE EDITER

PURPOSE:To read and edit plural pictures from developed photo films in which different pattern sizes are in existing in mixture. CONSTITUTION:Picture information is read from developed photo films for each pattern of a normal pattern size by a picture information read means A. A pattern having a density change of each read pattern in a prescribed direction is detected based on the read picture information and the detected pattern is compared with specific reference patterns of panorama size and half size to detect the pattern size of the read picture pattern. Then plural pictures confirmed by the picture information and the pattern size are displayed with indices and either of them is selected and the selected picture is edited for its layout by an edit means C. In this edit, the color of the selected picture is corrected or other processing is executed for the picture as required. Then the edited picture is outputted by an output means D.
