SALES INFORMATION REGISTERING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the load of the operator of a sales information registration processing using a bar code hand scanner. CONSTITUTION:A bar code hand scanner 2 is equipped with a bar code reading part 22, sum display part 23, switch 24, and scanner control part 21. Bar code data read by the bar code reading part 22 are transferred through the scanner control part 21 to a sales information registering main device 1, the sum is registered in a details registering part 13, and the sum data are returned and displayed at the sum display part 23, and this processing is repeated. When the reading of the bar codes of plural merchandise is ended, and a totaling request is issued by pressing the switch 24, a main body control part 11 totals the sum in the details registering part 13, registers it in a cash settling part 14, and transfers the total sum to the scanner control part 21. The scanner control part 21 displays the total sum at the sum display part 23.
