RECORDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To form a recording track by a normal track width even if a correct pairing between heads is not secured. CONSTITUTION:Heads 3A and 3B which are different in azimuth are adjacently arranged. A tape 2 is made to run at low speed so as to advance by a recording track pitch every time the heads 3A and 3B turn N rotations. Electrocardiogram waveform data DT is supplied to a recording signal processing circuits 5 and recording signal corresponding to one track is formed every time the head 3A and 3B turn N rotations. After Nb rotations after the recording signals corresponding to a track are supplied to the head 3A, the recording signals corresponding to one track are supplied to the heard 3B. After Na rotations after the recording signals corresponding to a track are supplied to the head 3B, the recording signals corresponding to one track are supplied to the head 3A. Na+Nb=2N. By adjusting the ratio of the number of rotations Nb and Na in an adjusting part 10 even if the pairing of the heads 3A and 3B are not secured, recording tracks can be formed every time the location change on the tape 2 where the heads 3A, 3B scan is a normal recording track pitch.
