Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of insertion and removal of a printed circuit board by providing a robot hand for safely inserting a printed circuit board into a rack or removing it by supporting it between upper and lower guide rails while grasping it. CONSTITUTION:Before a printed circuit board 1 is inserted in a rack A, a control 21 drives a solenoid 17 so that a movable shaft 18 may close a clamp 13 to grasp the printed circuit board on its end 2 and hold it between rails 23a and 23b and a groove 24. The forward edge of the printed circuit board is firmly held in this manner. The clamp is driven forward and backward slowly in positions where load increases because of a deviation. If the clamp suffers abnormal load, a motor 5 is stopped to prevent excessive load on the printed circuit board.
