CONTINUOUS FEED TYPE INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable heating temperature for the whole of a heated article to be more accurately judged by providing a temperature measurement instrument having the capability of measuring the heating temperature over the entire length of the article from the lateral direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:A heated article 1 is continuously fed to the inside of a heating coil 2 with a delivery pinch roller 4, upon the start of operation. The article 1 is heated, while travelling in the coil 2, and delivered to the outside of the coil 2 with a delivery pinch roller 6 at a speed faster than a travel speed in the coil 2. In this case, when the passage of the article 1 is confirmed with a passage sensor 14 in the neighborhood of the outlet of the coil 2, heating temperature for another article 1 travelling in the coil 2 is measured over the entire length thereof with a temperature measurement instrument from the lateral direction thereof. A controller judges whether the article 1 is within the predetermined temperature range, on the basis of the results of temperature measurement. The article 1, when found to be within the predetermined temperature range, is directly transported to a pressing process. If the temperature of the article 1 is outside the predetermined range, the article 1 is discharged to a bypass 20 via a cylinder 11.
