ANGLE DEPENDENT MULTIPLEX INPUT/OUTPUT METHOD

PURPOSE:To enable instruction input reception and picture display different for plural viewers with one display input device by using light receiving components for selectively receiving only light emitted from within an angle capable of viewing a picture by light emitting components corresponding to the respective light emitting components for constituting the picture. CONSTITUTION:The pictures corresponding to respective viewing directions are successively arranged behind respective lenticular lenses 11 and respective picture elements 12 are sectioned into the light emitting and light receiving components corresponding to the viewing directions from 1 to 6. The light emitted at the components 1-6 in the respective picture elements 12 are propagated through the lenticular lenses 11 to the respective viewing directions and reaches to persons P1-P6 standing with the respectively different angles to an angle dependent multiplex input/output device 10. When the optical path is advanced backwards, only the light emitted from a viewing angle for which the picture is displayed reaches one of component groups for constituting the picture. When it is sensed by a photodetector or the like, the person viewing the picture can input instructions by light beams emitted from a place where the person is present.
