Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain 1,1-difluoroethane in high yield in a long-term stable operation by fluorinating 1,1-dichloroethane with hydrogen fluoride in a liquid phase. CONSTITUTION:The objective 1,1-difluoroethane can be obtained by fluorinating 1,1-dichloroethane with hydrogen fluoride in a liquid phase at 10-70 deg.C under a pressure of 1.0-10.0kg/cm using a catalyst composed of antimony pentachloride and molybdenum pentachloride.
