CHIP DISPOSAL DEVICE OF MACHINE TOOL

PURPOSE:To make possible a labor saving and safe discharge process for chip by providing a transport device to transport chip with washing liquid on the way of a leading pipe to lead out chip generated in a machine tool, and providing a separating device to separate the chip from the washing liquid on the discharge port of the leading pipe. CONSTITUTION:Chip 2 of fragment shape or coil shape generated in a machine tool 1 is let fall into a chip tray 3. During operation of the machine tool 1, the washing liquid in a washing liquid tank 12 is transported by driving a washing liquid pump 11, and the washing liquid 5 is discharged to a discharge port 4b side through a first liquid feed pipe 13 and a liquid feed port 13a. Hereby, negative pressure is generated in a taking-in pipe 4A, and the chip 2 is taken into a discharge pipe 4B. The washing oil 5 is sent together with the chip 2 while washing cutting oil stuck on the surface of the chip 2, brought down onto a conveyor 8, and let fall into a washing liquid receiving tank 9 through the drop hole 8b of the transport surface 8a of the conveyor 8, and the chip 2 is let fall in a chip receiving tank 10 and disposed.
