STRESS STRAIGHTENING DEVICE FOR BUILTUP STEEL SHAPE

PURPOSE:To provide a device by which a welding strain of a builtup steel shape generated when the steel shape is manufactured is corrected. CONSTITUTION:In the device by which the welding strain of the builtup steel shape 10 formed by welding a web on a flange part is corrected, lower rollers 1 having a cylindrical rolling contacting surface respectively are vertically movably provided in front and in rear of a lower main roller 2 having a drum- shape rolling contacting surface, enforcing rollers 3a, 3b and 3c are arranged opposing the lower main roller and lower rollers. The steel shape is held at its flange part between each roller and transferred in the X direction by rotating the rollers in the direction of the arrow. During the transfer, a square deformation is corrected by enforcing the flange part on the drum-shape rolling contacting surface of the lower main roller 2 by the enforcing roller 3a and a longitudinal curvature is corrected by forming a difference of height between the lower main roller 2 and lower rollers 1 by vertically moving the lower rollers 1.
