Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a lining method for reducing residual chlorine when water containing the chlorine is supplied by using a resin lining pipe or a resin lining tank by means of the contact of a chemical, which reacts with a functional group on the resin surface, with the resin surface at least after the resin surface is cured. CONSTITUTION:In the method for lining the inner face of a water supply piping and a water supply tank with a thermosetting resin or a low temperature setting resin, a chemical, which reacts with a functional group on the resin surface, is brought into contact with the resin surface at least after the resin surface is cured. The method of contact is applied, for instance, when a worker can perform the operation in a tank lined with an epoxy resin lining agent, a chemical such as acetic acid water, carbonated water or oxide water is sprayed from a spray nozzle 2 of a hose 1 of an epoxy resin lining agent layer 3. In the case of the piping, water solution into which the chemical is dissolved or dilute solution into which the chemical is gasified or atomized and diluted with air or nitrogen is sealed or the like to bring the chemical into contact with the resin.
