Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a coating material feed device which can be cleaned without dismantling a slit section easily in a short time and eliminate the mixture of a material of different kind and the variation of coating thickness by dividing removably a slit section discharging the coating material and a coating material feed section feeding the coating material to the slit section. CONSTITUTION:A slit section 32 for feeding a coating material and a coating material feed section 30 for feeding the coating material to the slit section 32 are divided removably in a coating material feed device. When the coating material is switched over to the different kind or cleaned, agglomerates P and a residual coating material in a remaining section 31 of the feed section 30 are removed by cleaning in the state of separating completely the coating material feed section 30. The cleaning can be performed sufficiently and easily as the feed section 30 is separated, and also the coating material feed section 30 can be mounted on the slit section 32 easily. On the other hand, the coating material on the slit 29 can be removed without dismantling the slit section 32 by inserting, for example, a polyethylene terephthalate film 49 into the slit 29 and sliding the film therein.
