EXCHANGER FOR CLOTH ROLL OF LOOM

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a conveying cart and improve the loom installation density in a factory. CONSTITUTION:After a conveying cart 50 arrives the front of a loom in a factory, a cloth roll 8 is delivered from a winding and driving part 3 onto the conveying cart 50 with a delivery arm 25. An engaging member 22 is then retreated from a stocker 17. Thereby, an empty roll 16 is fed from the stocker 17 onto the winding driving part 3. A woven cloth 4 connecting from the side of the loom to the cloth roll 8 on the conveying cart 50 is subsequently cut with a cutting mechanism 35. The cut part on the side of the loom is wound around the empty roll 16 fed to the winding driving part 3 with a winding mechanism 42. The cloth roll 8 is then conveyed to a cloth roll storage place in the factory with the conveying cart 50. Thereby, the structure of the conveying cart 50 is simplified. Furthermore, the conveying cart 50 is accessible to the loom and the passage width for the conveying cart 50 is narrowed.
