ELECTRODE STRUCTURE OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To increase junction strength upon substrate packaging or prevent an electrode from being bent by increasing the rigidity of the electrode at end portions of the electronic component to which portion external force is likley to be applied. CONSTITUTION:In electronic components 1 including electrodes 3 arranged in a row, strength of a desired number of electrodes 3a located at end portions of the electronic component 1 is more increased than that of other inside electrodes 3b. Otherwise, a junction area of the desired number of the electrodes located at the end portions of the electronic parts with respect to a substrate 4 is more increased than that of the other inside electrodes. Hereby, the electrodes at the end portions are prevented from being bent, and the other inside electrodes are protected by the electrodes at the end portions. Otherwise, the junction area of the desired number of the electrodes located at the end portions of the electronic component to which external force is likely to be applied with respect to the substrate is increased than that of the other inside electrodes, whereby the junction strength is increased and hence connection reliability between the electronic component and the substrate is improved.
