TRIMMING DATA INPUT DEVICE FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM

PURPOSE:To enhance printing processing efficiency by vertically moving the transparent plate of a trimming gauge and measuring the extent of the movement. CONSTITUTION:When the center of the image of an important object is deviated from the intersection 1 on the transparent plate 10 of the trimming gauge 1, for instance, when the center of the image of the object is positioned at the upper left of the intersection 1, a second driving rotor is further rotated to match the center axis line in the vertical direction of the image of the object to the vertical axis line X of the transparent plate 10 and then, a knob 15 is manually turned to move the transparent plate 10 upward and match the horizontal axis line Y of the transparent plate 10 to the center axis line in the horizontal direction of the image of the object. Finally, positions in the lateral and longitudinal directions of a frame, as the center in printing, measured by a film horizontally moving quantity detector and a transparent plate moving quantity measuring device 16 are recorded on a recording medium together with the number of prints, a printing state, etc., by operating an operation part.
