STEAM DRIER, STEAM SEPARATING SYSTEM AND MOISTURE SEPARATOR

PURPOSE:To provide a steam drier whose overall performance can be enhanced by an increase in the amount of droplets collected without greatly increasing pressure losses, a steam separating system using the same, and a moisture separator. CONSTITUTION:A flow of moist steam 12 is guided by a hood plate 15 and allowed to flow in via a porous plate 16a which distributes the amounts of flow of the moist steam 12, and droplets in the moist steam 12 are collected by a plurality of plates. The droplets are collected using drain gutters 18 disposed beneath the plates and are discharged from a drain pipe connected to the drain gutters 18. Because protrusions are provided on that side of the opening of the porous plate 16a which faces the hood plate 15, the droplets can be prevented from being splashed again by the flow of steam near the opening and carried over.
