STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING COMPOSITE STONE

PURPOSE:To mount composite stone easily by fixing a metal plate onto one side face of a reinforcing member and fastening one piece of fittings bent in an L-shaped cross section to the reinforcing member and the other piece to a backing material respectively. CONSTITUTION:Bar-shaped backing materials 1 are fixed to a body W in the vertical direction at regular intervals. The backing materials 1 are disposed near the lateral end section of composite stone 3, and fittings 2 are installed. One piece of the fittings 2 is fastened to the metal plate 4 of composite stone 3, in which the metal plate 4 is fixed previously onto one side face of a reinforcing member 32 by a screw B coated with adhesive. Composite stone 3, on which the fittings 2 are mounted, is moved near the backing material, and one piece of the fittings 2 is fastened onto the backing material 1 by a screw B1. Accordingly, composite stone 3 in a lower section is set up, and the projecting section of the metal plate 4 is fitted into the recessed section of the reinforcing member 32 of composite stone 3 in an upper section.
